This fantastic holiday home is located right at the entrance of Sagres town and sleeps up to 6 guests. It has a private garden with a pool that can be heated and is fully equipped to offer you the perfect holiday home. And only 1000m from Martinhal beach, 1000m from Tonel beach and a little further from Mareta and Beliche beaches.
The space
This modern townhouse with a private garden and pool sleeps up to 6 people and is the perfect getaway for families and young professionals who want to enjoy the town of Sagres and the amazing (surf) beaches.
The owner updated this accommodation in June 2022 to create a homely, comfortable, luxurious holiday home fully equipped. It has two bedrooms with two single beds each, which can easily be pushed together. A sofa bed in the living room folds into a small double. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with modern appliances, including a 4-plate induction stove, oven and microwave, a small dishwasher and a washer/dryer combination.
To top it all off, the house has a spacious private garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a private pool that can be heated upon request (at extra cost) and with an optional child protection gate.

The neighborhood
The townhouse is located in a calm neighbourhood at the entrance of Sagres town. The house is 400 m from the Intermarché supermarket; 400m from the restaurant "Meridian"; the surf shop 400 m; the bicycle rental shop 400 m; 1000m from the centre of Sagres (Pharmacy, Market, shops, restaurants, bars, health centre, post office, etc.)
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres (the nearest bus stop at 100 m from the bus stop (Sagres- Sítio do Poço), but to get around,d a hire car is recommended. You can park one car in the private parking spot in front of the house. Further shared parking spots are available.
By car, it's 15 km to the "Golf Santo António" course, 30 km to Lagos, 50 km to the "Slide & Splash" water park, 90 km to Faro airport, 350 km to Lisbon airport and 350 km to Seville.

Die vermietende Agentur könnte sich ein wenig mehr um den Zustand und die Funktionalität der Einrichtung und die Wünsche der Gäste kümmern. Da sind wir, um ehrlich zu sein,besseres gewohnt. So scheint die Unterkunft leider nur verwaltet. Insgesamt sind wir aber durchaus zufrieden mit der Buchung.

La maison est située à l'entrée de Sagres en venant de Vila Do Bispo ce qui est pratique pour partir explorer les spots de surf de la côte sud et ouest.

This apartment is very nice, clean and functional. Also very well equipped. The pool was not usable but for us with a small child during winter not a problem. Constant hot water and good heating system. Rental valley is very supportive and solution oriented. Thanks again!

The apartment is in need of a little love and care. Backyard grass was overgrown, swimming pool was dirty and had sand on the bottom, the living room table is broken in half and should be replaced, there were quite a mosquitoes inside when we arrived and appeared that this was an ongoing issue with all the bug and blood smash spots on the walls and curtains.

Easy check in and check out, quiet place, good communication with rental valley, well equiped kitchen.
The centre of Sagres is within walking distance although it takes 15 minutes along the main road.

We did not walk to Martinhal beach but in the car it's just a 2 min drive. Mareta is about 4 mins. Parking right outside the front door. Best to have a car if you want to get to shops etc and see more of the area.
Cannot recommend property more and an ideal location to take kids on first holiday abroad.

Apartment is furnished in the cheapest possible way, and is starting to age. A drawer in the kitchen cabinet just falls apart when trying to open it.
Even though the apartment was clean, it did not feel clean due to the furniture.

O único que melloraría son as plantas da entrada, donde se deixan os coches, porque semellan podres e atraen ás moscas, pero fican fóra da casa. Polo demais estupendo.

The only negative was that the host contacted us and even someone came to the property to fix something in the washing machine during our stay even though we wore not complaining about it and we asked to be alone as we needed that time as a family without any interruptions. We wanted to be at peace and not dealing with maintenance issues and people we don't know coming in and out of the house.
I think everything was fantastic apart from that.

It looks like it is described, beds are very comfortable. Even if close to the main road you don’t hear much noise.
Nothing in Sagres is far , but a car is recommended, since the property is at the very entrance of Sagres. (Ca25 min walking to the Center).
The Indian restaurant: holy Diwali is reachable in a short walk but alongside the main road. Food there is excellent and staff super friendly !!
Just one thing: don’t hang your clothes to dry in the garden over night as there is a water sprinkler that runs early morning and everything will be soaking wet.
Pool heating cost extra ….for the price we paid I was surprised to learn that 1 week before arrival.

- quite frugal and making it clear multiple times that they will only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper (this in itself is enough but being reminded was off)
- there was no shampoo, even though it was in the listing (flagged to hosts)
- didn't provide Nespresso pods even though there was a machine (every other place I've stayed in usually provide pods, even if its just a few. We ended up buying some but they weren't the right ones so we ended up wasting money and product)
- only gave 2x dishwasher tablets, 1x washer pod and 1x garbage bag. No extras of anything. (again, this felt really stingy.)
- paid EXTRA for pool heating and had to let them know days in advance, only to find out that they had to reset it on the day of so it never heated up while we were there (was ignored when flagged)
- washing machine was leaking when used (ignored when flagged)

Presque rien.... Il faut être attentif pour s’y rendre la première fois, mais en suivant bien les directions on trouve . L’indice des deux pins laissé par une cliente précédente nous a bien aidé.

La petite piscine chauffée.+- 29 degrés.
Aucune adresse précise,aucune signalisation du lotissement, aucun code d'accès fournis par le prestataire.
Nous avons perdu 1h entre recherches, appels en... hollande pour avoir les infos.
Absence de ventilation sdb.
Le lotissement se trouve tout à l entrée de sagres à gauche ,au niveau de 2 pins,avant une descente et 100m après l indication sur la grand route" martinhal "

Le logement est très bien équipé un peu loin du centre et proche de la route mais bien orienté pour éviter les nuisances. Chauffage apprécié pour un séjour en hiver.
