The space
Ideally located in the heart of the old village of Burgau and within not even a minute stroll to the beautiful beach and wide choice of village restaurants around the corner. Villa som das Ondas is a characteristic townhouse, divided in two apartments, each with their own independent private entrance.
Accessed through its own private entrance at the side of this property this delightful two-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor. This apartment offers a large living and dining area attached to a large kitchen that is fully equipped with electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, granite worktops.
From the kitchen you can enter the large patio/garden with a sitting, dining table and a grill. To enjoy the long summer nights with a nice BBQ and the family! The apartment has
2 large bedrooms with a king-sized bed(2 times 90x200), and a separate bathroom.

The neighborhood
Burgau is a quiet fishing village, situated between Lagos and Sagres. Sheltered from the wind by the cliffs on a small cove is the lovely Praia do Burgau. It is an excellent base for a relaxing beach holidays or exploring the beautiful Western Algarve. It has some amazing restaurants and bars facing the sea, and there are several other beautiful beaches in the area to explore. If your idea of the perfect holiday is to relax in the sun and swim in the sea, this village will provide everything your heart desire.
Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive, as are many of the Algarve's best surfing beaches. Only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Lagos with its lively nightlife, bustling yacht marina and a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Other things to do in the area include surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis and hiking.
Getting around
Although public transport is available in the area, it is limited. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. Free street parking is available all throughout and around town.
