Your own rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi, sea views, and an Algarve sunset that is hard to beat. This self-contained apartment in the village of Alvor sleeps two, with a private entrance and everything you need for a couple's escape to the coast.
The space
Apartment Alvor is a self-contained top-floor apartment with its own private entrance via an outdoor staircase, in the heart of Alvor village. It sleeps two. The owners live in the home below, so you have friendly neighbours on site should you need anything.
You enter into a bright open living area with a comfortable sofa, air conditioning, Smart TV, and a compact fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom adjoins, with a double bed made up from two single beds (which can be separated on request) and its own air conditioning unit. A bathroom with shower and toilet and a washing machine complete the interior.
The real draw is outside. Step through the door onto your private roof terrace: a jacuzzi, a BBQ, sun loungers, and a dining table, with open sea views across the rooftops of Alvor all the way to the Atlantic.
That view, at sunset, is the reason people come back.
Guest access
The entire apartment is yours during your stay. The owners live in the home below and are on hand if you need them, while your space remains completely private.

The neighborhood
Alvor is one of those Algarve villages that still feels like itself. The old centre, a short walk from the apartment, has a square lined with restaurants and bars, a weekly market, local shops, and a church that has been here since the 16th century. The seafront is a long wooden boardwalk over the lagoon, with views across the Alvor estuary to the dunes and the Atlantic beyond.
Praia de Alvor is around 1.5 km from the apartment, roughly 4 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot along the seafront boardwalk. The beach is wide, sheltered, and popular with couples and families alike. Meia Praia, a long straight stretch of sand popular with kitesurfers and beach clubs, is around 10 minutes by car.
Portimão and its marina are around 8 minutes by car. Lagos, with its old town, beaches, and wider restaurant scene, is around 15 minutes.
For day trips: the market town of Silves and its Moorish castle is around 30 minutes east. Sagres and the dramatic cliffs of Cabo de São Vicente, the south-westernmost point of mainland Europe, are about 45 minutes west.
Getting around
A car is recommended for getting around the wider Algarve. Alvor village is walkable from the apartment, and the seafront boardwalk to the beach is a pleasant flat walk. Portimão has a train station on the Algarve line, around 10 minutes by car. Faro Airport is approximately 55 minutes by car. Lisbon is around 3 hours by car or roughly 3 hours 15 minutes by express train from Portimão via Tunes. Street parking near the apartment is free of charge.

➤ Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Smoking is allowed on the roof terrace.
