The neighborhood
This townhouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is right behind the town center of Sagres, with it's many restaurants and shops. The big supermarket is 5-10 minutes walking. Beliche beach and the Cabo de São Vicente ('end of the world') are just a few minutes by car.
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres, but to get around a hire car is recommended. You can park one car for free on our private parking, extra cars can park in the streets surrounding this accommodation.

Beautiful location and immaculate grounds, the natural pool was a favourite. the local host is very helpful. We had issues with some of the amenities and looking at past reviews this is ongoing, overall it was a good stay but the kitchen needs updating and is in no way luxury. the sink leaked, the dishwasher does not work and the oven took about 2 hours to cook a simple meal.

Our host was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. The Airbnb was lovely, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The house matched all the pictures perfectly. On the first evening, the owners joined us for dinner, and it was wonderful to hear their stories. The place was spotless and looked fantastic.
The only downside was that the water stopped working for the last 1.5 days of our stay. Instead of being proactive and coming to the villa to check the issue, they initially blamed the government. After multiple calls and text messages, they eventually came after a few hours, identified the problem, and fixed it. To make up for the inconvenience, they kindly allowed us a late check-out, which was very thoughtful and convenient.

Wir waren eine Woche in dem Haus.
Leider blieben Investitionen aus, so das die Glanzstunden dieser "Villa" vor ca. 10 Jahren waren.
Küche ist funktionsfähig jedoch vom Baujahr 2000. Dieses spiegelt sich in der abgeranzten Spülmaschine am meisten wieder.
Bei einem der drei Badezimmer musste die Dusche ausgetauscht werden da diese mit Alufolie geflickt wurde und der Wasserhahn völlig verkalkt war.
Grill war nicht zu gebrauchen und mit Zigarettenkippen, die 2 Sonnenliegen defekt und gefährlich da verrostete Schrauben rausschauten.
Positiv ist wie schnell man die meisten Beanstandungen behoben hat. ( innerhalb 24 h )
Die Größe des Haus sowie Garten ist Klasse.
Der Teich ist mega für Kinder da der Pool nicht beheizt und somit viel zu kalt.
Tennisplatz ist auch vor der Tür und ist kostenlos zur Nutzung.

Très belle et grande villa située au calme dans un lot de résidences privées. Cependant, nous restons très déçus, les photos ne sont pas synonymes de la réalité et doivent dater. Il y a un réel manque d’entretien dans toute la maison et les facilités (dégâts des eaux apparents, baie vitrée ne fermant pas, douches rafistolées….). C’est triste de voir une si jolie maison pas entretenue et donc pas au standing vendu. Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser le terrain de tennis, car les raquettes ne sont pas fournies, la piscine n'est pas chauffée et des mosaïques sont cassées la rendant dangereuse… Ceci a d’ailleurs été confirmé par l'hôte très disponible nous aillant accueillit. La villa n’est également pas ‘privatisée’. En effet, tout le monde peut accéder à la maison, le portail n’étant jamais clos, et le jardin ouvert. Quant à la localisation, Sagres est TRÈS calme, il n’y a pas de boutiques et peu d’ambiance le soir. Si vous aimez la plage et le surf, c’est tout ce que vous trouverez ici.

Hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Op de inchecktijd zijn we netjes rondgeleid en is gecheckt of het huis compleet, netjes en schoon was. De villa was een fantastische uitvalsbasis naar de verschillende eettentjes in Sagres en een trip naar Lagos. Wij zouden hier zeker nogmaals willen verblijven!

We had a very good stay in the house.
The location is amazing, the garden wonderful.
The house is confortable, very clean, and all rooms have a view on the garden. The beds and pillées are confortable.
It would be nice to upgrade/update the equipment and facilities to match the amazing potential of the house (bigger BBQ, more deckchairs, dish-washer a little less old...)
Note: the air conditioning is only in 2 rooms, others are provided with fans.

Somos un grupo de amigos y parejas que desde hace 8 años vamos a Sagres una semana en verano. Este año hemos descubierto Villa Cercado y nos ha sorprendido gratamente. Las fotos están fenomenal, pero cuando llegas a la casa y la descubres, sientes que no te has equivocado con la reserva.
Las habitaciones, las camas, los baños, el salón, el jardín, la terraza, la piscina, el tenis, la cocina.. la cama elástica! Todo es estupendo.
Te sientes como en casa desde que pones un pie en la Villa y la bienvenida de los anfitriones, cuya foto y su presentación puede verse en la entrada, lo hace todo mas acogedor.
Ha sido una semana donde hemos disfrutado mucho y ya estamos esperando que llegue el año que viene para volver a reservar.
Muchas gracias por dejarnos vivir vuestra casa como si fuese nuestra.

We loved our stay at Villa Cercado, it is a little paradise in Sagres. The house and garden were perfect for our family with four grown up kids. The big living room was comfortable for all of us, the bedrooms with the three bathrooms allowed plenty of privacy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a good meal at home. Everything was well kept and beautifully furnished. We would have loved to stay longer!

Really loved the light and spacious house. We were two families of four and it worked really well. Plenty for the kids to do with the beautiful garden, swimming pool, lake and table tennis table. Lovely place to say. Got everything you could want and more! Good communication , lovely setting in sagres. Not quite walking distance from the beach but not far off and Surf is good!

La casa es aún mejor que en las fotos. disfrutamos de un espacio muy amplio, en mitad de la naturaleza, con un interior muy luminoso, con grandes ventanales que nos permitieron disfrutar del exterior desde todas las habitaciones. estuvimos una semana y la piscina estuvo mantenida por el servicio, que vino una vez para limpiar el fondo. aunque hay casas alrededor, se siente absolutamente privada. la ubicación permite disfrutar de un cielo estrellado espectacular. la piscina biológica y el exterior ajardinado está muy bien cuidado y te permite ver incluso ranas! junto al columpio y la cama elástica, es ideal para ir con niños, pero los adultos también la hemos disfrutado mucho!! ha sido 👌

I was extremely impressed with the Villa. It had everything that was advertised, plus more. Very clean & spacious with a lovely family feel. Looks much better than the pictures and is very well kept. Was a pleasure to spend my daughters birthday at the villa.

Awesome place!!! Best spot in Sagres no doubt. A very relaxed, beautiful and easy living house, with fantastic facilities.
Plenty of space inside the house and out side in the garden.
We love the trampoline and the beautiful biological swimming pool.
Close for what you need and away from crowd, this house is on the right place. We’ll be back for sure.
