The space
Ga nooit zonder zonneschijn in deze huiselijke, op het zuiden gelegen villa! Ons herenhuis is verbouwd naar moderne normen zonder zijn traditionele charme te verliezen, en biedt u een gezellig en comfortabel familiehuis.
De woning heeft balkons op het noorden en het zuiden, evenals een patio met eettafel die de late namiddagzon vangt, perfect voor lange, luie zomeravonddiners. Deze afwisseling geeft u altijd de optie voor zon en schaduw en bescherming tegen de overheersende noordelijke winden. Het zonnedek heeft een houtskool barbecue samen met uitzicht op de Costa Vicentina Nationaal Park en het dorp.
We bieden ruimte voor 5 gasten met 3 slaapkamers (twee tweepersoonskamers en een grote eenpersoonskamer) en 2 badkamers. Families van 6 met 2 kleine kinderen zijn ook welkom.

The neighborhood
Het stadshuis is gelegen aan de ingang van Sagres stad, in een rustige woonwijk. Restaurants en supermarkt op 5 minuten loopafstand, stadscentrum en stranden op 15 minuten loopafstand.
Getting around
Er gaan meerdere bussen per dag van en naar Sagres, maar om je te verplaatsen is een huurauto aan te raden. U kunt gratis parkeren in de straten naast het huis.

Cómodo, amplio y limpio.
Esta ubicado a la entrada a Sagres con lo que está a un paseo (20 min próx) de las principales playas y de la zona de restaurantes y bares.

Property was not as presented in the photos. Kitchen needs much maintenance and updating. Big fridge was broken and dishwasher wasn't working properly. Oven hobs were temperamental too.
There was minimal house products provided eg cleaning, washing up liquid and rinse aid. We had entered the property and a lot of the cutlery and plates were really dirty and dishwasher wasn't working properly without rinse aid.
The property needs a little love. Sofa needs a clean, there are no reading lamps so lights are bright in the evening.
King size bed was uncomfortable but other beds were okay.
Upstairs shower was excellent but the bidet didn't work.
Also WIFI wasn't working throughout stay. Host was responsive to solving situation but it did impact our holiday.
Overall for the price per night property needs some updating and better attention to the cleanliness.

Da wir während des Stromausfalls/Blackouts in Portugal und Spanien dort waren und in der Region kein mobiles Internet verfügbar war, möchten wir besonders positiv hervorheben, dass der Vermieter proaktiv zu Besuch kam, um und mit Informationen zu versorgen und zu fragen, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung ist. Toller Service!

- Nos quedamos sin gas y al día siguiente por la mañana, vinieron a arreglarlo.
- Pagué por 3 cunas y solo había 1 sin colchón. Nos trajeron inmediatamente 2 cunas más y un colchón. Tuve que apañar colchones con los cojines del sofá.
-Trajeron un aspirador NUEVO
- Todas las mañanas, a las 6 de la mañana, se ponen a cantar los gallos que hay en la casa de al lado
- El colchón debe de medir como mucho 2cm de grosor. Y las almohadas...
- Todas las esquinas de la casa están con telarañas. La casa PLAGADA DE MOSCAS. La limpieza a la llegada, ha dejado mucho que desear…
- La bañera de hidromasaje no funciona.
- Los dos fogones grandes de la cocina, no funcionan. Así que cocinar para varias personas es imposible.
- Solo hay vasos y estaban muy sucios. Nada más que hay tazas 3 de desayuno. Todos los armarios de la cocina están ocupados por menaje, y eso obliga a tener que dejar toda la comida en la encimera.

It’s not exactly in the center or next to a beach but everything is within 15-20 minutes walking distance. I would recommend a car - so day trips along the algarve can be possible as well.
The house has a lot of Charme and we felt very homey there. The kitchen could do well with a few more basics (better cutting knifes, grater, pasta strainer, coffee plunger, garlic press, more basic herbs) and there weren’t really any cleaning supplies which was kind of weird because we were staying a few weeks. But that could be easily fixed by the rental agency.
Only problem we had was the hot water boiler. It ended up breaking completely so we didn’t have hot water for the last 8 days. That meant having cold showers every day…. It was doable but surely not enjoyable. We got some refund because of it but they surely could have put more effort into fixing it while we stayed there.
But overall it was a very pleasant stay.

When we arrived the accommodation was in a disastrous state: everything was super dirty, the toilets were disgusting and there were no pillows, blankets or towels. After several attempts, we reached customer service and had to insist that a cleaning team come the same day. End of story: cleaning team came and it was still super dirty. Had to clean the toilets ourselves to be able to use them at all. Have now been chasing Rental Valley for several days to get compensation. We got a compensation of 50€, which is ridiculous at 140€ cleaning fees, if you have to clean yourself. And the request to cancel more nights was completely ignored.
Sagres is great and there are lots of nice places to stay there - book them and have a great time rather than going through the same thing we and many others did, looking at the G00gle reviews. What we have learned for the future is that we will no longer book accommodation through Airbnb from a company without G00gling them first.

la maison est spacieuse et la cuisine bien équipée.
la maison est humide et froide et n’est pas équipée de chauffage. un cauchemar en décembre/ janvier.
la maison n’est pas isolée et l’air passe à travers les fenêtres.
l’eau chaude n’est pas stable.
rental valley n’est pas très disponible pour répondre aux questions pour améliorer le séjour.

Tiene patio y terrazas que le van mucha vida y además provistas de mangueras y tendederos para dejar los neoprenos limpios y secos para el día siguiente.
Aunque el Checkin lo hace uno mismo y la información se proporciona a través de una web, no hubo problemas.
La fianza que se cobra separademente de booking.com me parece un poco excesiva ya que al reservar a través de booking ya hay seguros y garantías para inquilino y host.

Máquina de café e torradeira avariada. Penso que os donos não devem saber. Faltam pratos rasos copos e chávenas. Devem ter se partido ao longo do tempo e não foram repostos. É o que se usa mais logo é o que se parte mais.

The house had a foul smell and was not very clean - especialy the kitchen ware. The kitchen is ill equiped.
People that work for the company who rents it do not speak a word of portuguese (assuming we portuguese are not clients??? it is not professional). When I called about the old broken expresso machine, they did not replace it, saying that it worked but was dificut to handle. it did not work. They had put in place an italian type moka stove coffee maker - not expresso.
Nobody called on the day of checkin, nor the day of checkout, nor any other day - nobody cared to know if everything was ok, and when I called after leaving to say that I had left the keys and told the person who awnsered (who did not state her name) about the foul smell on the house, she hung up the phone on me! Could not believe it.
Considering what a paid for the house it was all absolutly unbelievable.
