The space
Villa Celestine is the perfect place for a luxury and comfortable, relaxing holiday with your family! Located on the outskirts of Monte Canelas Portimao, a luxurious home combined with a beautiful view and peace of nature. You find all you need for a perfect time!
The house offers a great pool and a south-facing balcony. Inside, a significant and spacious living room with an open and fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
You will find the living room, kitchen, and access to the balcony and pool area on the ground floor. Bedroom 1: double bed and a bathroom with bath and toilet in the hallway.
On the upper floor are bedrooms 2,3, and 4. One with an ensuite bathroom, the two others share the family bathroom in the hallway.
➤ Please note that the neighbours are renovating which may cause noise during your stay.

The neighborhood
Located 12 kilometres from downtown Portimao, Villa Célestine will seduce you with its modern charm and facilities. The house is alone in a residential area, beaches (Portimao, Alvor etc ...) are 14 minutes by car from the villa, there is plenty of entertainment and activities to do.
Getting around
Although you can find trains, buses and uber/taxi services in the area, a (hire) car is highly recommended for this trip as the accommodation is in stand-alone urbanisation. Parking is free and there is free parking readily available in most towns and beach areas.
Other things to note
➤ Check-in time: 4 - 10pm.
After 10 pm is possible, but our support team might not be available after that hour at your own risk.
➤ Check-out time: before 10 am
➤ Swimming pool can be heated at a surcharge of 23€ per day. Please let us know about this before your arrival.

The house looked clean and everything was there but apparently it was not the swimming pool was not cleaned as promised the shower was full of mold and in our second day was exited of having the big kitchen in the house we did our food shopping once we started cooking , pest attack started from the kitchen fan and lights as in pictures on the food and our bodies that was so disgusting .and I keep sending the company about all the problems and all the answer I get provide pictures so we take action but sadly they took action a day before we left so apparently the house we booked was a disaster trying to deal with the pest problem by my self everyday that made us spend most of the day out of the house running away from pest .ill never go back again .

Cependant le mobilier est très vieillissant , la table du salon est rafistoler, les pieds des chaises dansent la samba , lors de notre arrivée deux volets roulants ne fonctionnait pas , un technicien est intervenu pour faire le dépannage du volet du rdc mais celui de l’étage dans une chambre était carrément par terre sur la terrasse donc pas de volet…
De la rouille est présente sur toute les colonnes de douche .
Des fissures et des taches sur les murs.
Nous avons pris l’option chauffage pour la piscine, à notre arrivée la piscine était très sale (ligne d’eau grasse et de couleur jaune ) nous n’avons donc pas pu profiter de la piscine pendant 2 jours , un technicien est intervenu afin de faire le nettoyage de la piscine le mardi soir .
Rental valley ont été réactifs à nos demandes , mais nous dire que les défauts du logement sont dues à une grosse saison, n’est pas notre problème !

Limpeza poderia ser melhor, tinha bastantes espaços com pó.
A localização é distanciada da tudo, tal como praia e supermercados.
A equipa de limpeza da piscina entra por a casa dentro sem tocar a companhia para efetuar a limpeza da piscina durante a estadia que é um bocado inconveniente.

Only negatives for us were:
- The location is a bit out of the way of town so UberEats etc didn’t deliver there due to there not being enough couriers in the area.
- Water stopped running on the morning that we were leaving (I let the host know and they responded quickly saying they’d get it sorted which is good)

During the weekend we heard music, dog barking and fireworks until midnight.
There is a caravan parked opposite the driveway making it hard to get on and off the drive. The driveway is very steep and the underneath of the car scrapes getting off and on.
The house itself was clean but needs a little maintenance. The front door handle falls off, the shutter in the kitchen is broke, most shower head spray and leak.
If was fine for anyone planning on using it for a base not a holiday home.

Gab es Fragen (Warmwasser ging nicht), wurde uns sogar am Feiertag innerhalb einer viertel Stunde geantwortet und das Problem sofort durch einen Handwerker behoben.
!!!!Achtung!!!! bei Reisen mit Kleinkind: es gibt keine "gesicherten" Flächen zum Krabbeln oder Spielen. Entweder ist der Pool, oder eine Treppe, oder die abfallende Gartengrenze maximal 1 Meter entfernt.
Dennoch, ohne Kleinkind würden wir sofort wieder kommen :)

The balcony railing was broken prior to arrival which was dangerous as a drop the other side and also multiple glass fragments on the floor which we cut out feet on.
Microwave broken reported but not replaced through stay. Downstairs bed broken, one of the slats kept falling out.
Overall an enjoyable stay.
