The space
Dit moderne en stijlvolle appartement met 1 slaapkamer ligt net buiten het stadscentrum van Lagos in het jachthavengebied en is de perfecte plek voor een citytrip naar de Algarve. Het is onlangs gerenoveerd tot een moderne en comfortabele plek om tot rust te komen. Het balkon biedt een mooie ruimte voor een wijntje of gewoon om te ontspannen na een lange dag.
Het appartement is onlangs volledig gerestyled en bevindt zich op de derde verdieping. Het is voorzien van een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een vaatwasser. Er is een grote woon- en eetkamer die toegang geeft tot het balkon. De slaapkamer biedt een tweepersoonsbed en een kast. En geeft toegang tot het gedeelde zwembad van het condominium.

The neighborhood
Het Marina gebied ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten afstand en heeft alles wat u nodig heeft inclusief restaurants, bars met live muziek en een grote supermarkt.
Lagos is de perfecte vakantiebestemming met een levendig historisch centrum vol met winkels, (super)markten, een jachthaven, bars en restaurants. Het staat bekend om zijn adembenemende kliffen en we raden een boot-, kajak- of SUP-tour aan om ze vanaf het water te bekijken. Het stadje heeft een pittoresk historisch centrum, heerlijk eten en vriendelijke mensen. Omdat het aan de kust ligt kunt u genieten van verschillende watersportactiviteiten zoals surfen en zeilen. Er zijn veel activiteiten voor alle leeftijden en voorkeuren in dit gebied.
Getting around
Lagos is met de auto in ongeveer een uur te bereiken vanaf de luchthaven van Faro en er is autoverhuur beschikbaar op de parkeerplaats van de luchthaven. Met de trein duurt het ongeveer 2,5 tot 3 uur.
Lagos heeft een treinstation (voor reizen richting Faro, Lissabon en Porto) en een busstation (voor bussen richting de westkant van de zuidkust), maar houd er rekening mee dat bussen en treinen maar een paar keer per dag gaan. U kunt zich gemakkelijk verplaatsen zonder auto en er zijn voldoende taxi's en Ubers beschikbaar, maar als u echt de omgeving van Lagos wilt verkennen, zal een (huur)auto uw leven een stuk gemakkelijker maken.

Only being given one set of keys provides logistic issues particularly for a stay of four weeks.
The apartment is in a great location, central to everything Lagos has to offer and is large for a one bedroom. The bathroom is very tired and needs upgrading. Portable heaters were provided but these were not required during our stay (Oct/Nov). Two portable fans were provided and we used these daily. There is no aircon which would rule this apartment out for us during summer months.
The sofa was comfortable and I found the bed to be too but my wife struggled with the mattress.
The balcony received sun from breakfast to about 13:00. The table and chairs were comfortable but the cushions require refreshing. Glass balustrade filthy.
The condominium itself was well maintained by gardeners and cleaners however the pool area was a disappointment. Loungers were uncomfortable, some were broken and needed replaced and all were absolutely filthy. Decking area was partially blocked due to rotting boards. Traffic noise from adjacent busy road was intrusive.
The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was accurately described on the site. We would use Rental Valley again but despite having a good stay in the apartment and complex, we would try another apartment.

In der Küche gab es leider keine Grundausstattung, wir z.B. Öl, Gewürze etc. zum Kochen. Vielleicht sammelt sich dies aber jetzt nach und nach an, wenn jemand etwas kauft und dann dort lässt.

The apartment was spacious with great facilities and even the sofa bed was super comfortable.
Despite other reviews we found no evidence of an ant infestation and thought the property was very well cleaned!
Would highly recommend for all groups!

The apartment is set back from the road but we didn’t hear any traffic, great spot with onsite parking too
Kitchen is very well equipped & certainly large enough to cook in should you want too
Linen was all good quality and spotless
Comfy bed and fans to keep the warmer days more relaxing
All in all a great stay for us

The pool was a great addition and was very quiet most days.
The balcony was nice to eat breakfast on in the mornings.
Previous reviews state a lot of ants and we did notice a few in the last couple of days of our stay but a bit of the insect killer supplied in the cupboard sorted it.

Wir hatten das Problem, dass wir einige Armeisen in der Wohnung hatten (ein großes Problem in Portugal). Das Problem hatten wir aber sehr schnell im Griff und die Kommunikation war immer sehr nett. :)

The cons: No detergent to do laundry. Many ants found during our stay. Shampoo was listed as an amenity, but instead only hand soap was available.
I was confused about the parkade and needed clarification on how to get to our spot, the host mentioned that they never had an issue before and just told me to look harder. Ants were found in multiple places in the apartment. I mentioned this on the second day. I was asked by the host to purchase ant repellent product and they would re-imburse me. I don't know where to buy such product as I'm not from here. Shampoo was listed as an amenity, but none was to be found. The host knew about this and they blamed the airbnb listing system instead of addressing it.
The apartment was nice, but I wished the host could have been more accommodating and helpful. They seemed almost reluctant which made for an unpleasant experience

L’appartement au complet a besoin d’un grand ménage : il y a des tâches de saletés un peu partout sur les murs dont ceux de la salle de bain près de la toilette. Le bain ne s’écoule pas bien.
Il y avait de la moisissure sous le cadre de fenêtre de la chambre. Nous n’aurions jamais loué ce logement dans cet état.
L’emplacement par contre était vraiment bien et la cuisine était bien équipée!

Nous regrettons que cela n'ait pas eu l'effet escompté.

Der Zugang zur Anlage ist beim ersten Mal sehr kompliziert gestaltet. Die Tastatur zum Wohnhaus ist kaum erfolgreich zu betätigen. Hier sollte eine neue Tastatur verbaut werden! Es gibt keine Klimaanlage in der Wohnung, wir brauchten zum Glück auch keine. Ein paar Kissen für die Couch würde sie noch bequemer machen.

zu Lage: Vom Bahnhof ist man in 5-10 min an der Unterkunft, der Yachthafen ist etwa gleichweit entfernt. In die Altstadt dauert es etwas länger, man läuft aber einmal durch den Hafen durch, das ist immer eine schöner Weg. Wir hatten kein Problem mit den Entfernungen und haben fast alles zu Fuß in Lagos unternommen.
Den Pool haben wir nur einmal benutzt, ist für eine Abkühlung oder einen entspannten Nachmittag sicherlich gut.
Bei der Anreise war es lediglich etwas schwieriger in die erste Tür des Hauses zu kommen, aber mit etwas Geduld, klappt auch dies.

The kitchen ist well equipped and there’s a nice balcony next to the living room with sun in morning.

Ein kleiner Tisch vor dem Sofa wäre noch schön, das man seine Getränke abstellen kann. Ein Glas vom Balkon war gesprungen, was man wohl austauschen sollte. Und vor dem Sofa ein Fleck auf den schönen Parkett, was man auch beheben sollte. Das aber den Gesamteindruck der Wohnung nicht schmälert. Kein Taxi vom Urlaubsort nehmen.,lieber von einem Reiseanbieter vor dem Urlaub buchen. Der Taxifahrer wollte am Flughafen 160 Euro ( normalerweise 114 Euro) mit Sonntags Zuschlag zum Flughafen Das war sehr Unerfreulich.

Não houve nada que não gostei.
Único senão que eu tenho para a empresa que gere o apartamento convém mencionar que há um comando dentro do apartamento para a garagem, e mencionar qual o estacionamento correcto para não haver confusões no estacionamento.

La Pusina aunque cubría muy poco tenía césped y buena jardinería.
El WC estaba roto.Solo estaba la taza sin tapadera dentro de un armario y el cristal de seguridad de la terraza hecho añicos. La ropa de cama solo era una bajera.No se comunican más q en inglés.Enviamos correos diarios para que nos pusieran el Wc y el cristal con fotos incluidas y no vino nadie en los 5 días.
