This bright and spacious 1-bedroom apartment is located close to the town centre of Lagos, and its beautiful beaches.
The space
The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathtub and toilet and an open kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you might need. The living room is very light with a spacious sitting area and dining table. The balcony with a dining table overlooks the shared outdoor pool and garden of the modern condominium. Plenty of street parking in front of the building.

The neighborhood
Our holiday home is close to the town centre and Marina but away from the city noise in a quiet residential area. Therefore, you will be able to find calm and peacefulness next to the bustling city life. All within walking distance are three supermarkets, the beach and the bus station only 5 minutes away.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a lot easier.

Zu der gebuchten Zeit gab es jedoch Poolreapaturen, daher konnten wir diesen nicht nutzen. Trotzdem wurden wie über den Stand der Reperaturmaßnahmen vorab informiert und eine gute und schnelle Lösung wurde gefunden. Ich kann diese Unterkunft mit Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Ernüchternd sind wir jedoch über die Situation mit dem Swimmingpool. Uns wurde zwar im Vorfeld bereits mitgeteilt, dass der Pool defekt sei und während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht nutzbar sein werde, den angebotenen Nachlass von lediglich 10% auf den Nettopreis fanden wir jedoch nicht angemessen, insbesondere da wir bei ein Stornierung auf de Hälfte der Kosten sitzen geblieben wären. Einem Gegenvorschlag wollte man nicht diskutieren.
Die ersten Tage wurden wir morgens gegen 8 Uhr von Abbrucharbeiten des Pools geweckt, eine Nutzung des Pools war nicht möglich.
Die letzten paar Tage stank nocg der Hausflur im Untergeschoss nach vergammelten Fisch.
Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt okay, mehr aber auch nicht.

Only issue was the washer dryer was missing all of the buttons, and was therefore not useable even though the ad does mention it as an amenity. We had to go elsewhere to clean our clothes.

Wenn man einem 20 minütigen Spaziergang vor und nach dem Essen nicht abgeneigt ist, kann man auch super von der Wohnung aus zu Fuß in die Innenstadt gehen. Ansonsten ist ein Lidl in 5 Minuten zu erreichen, wo man alles bekommt.
Der Service von Rental Valley war sehr gut. Unser Local Host hat uns auch einige Fragen zu dem Ort, die nichts mit der Wohnung zu tun hatten beantwortet.
Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wenn man bereit ist für höheren Komfort etwas mehr Geld in die Hand zu nehmen!

Le seul bémol la literie en 140 cm est trop petite et il manque des transats réservés à l appartement
Ils sont tous cassés et la piscine est très grande mais les carreaux commencent à se décoller c est un peu dommage sinon l appartement est très agréable bien exposé et au calme dans un quartier sympa
Par contre nous n avions pas d accès au parking souterrain

Das Zentrum von Lagos ist fußläufig in 15 min zu erreichen.
2 Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in 2 Minuten zu erreichen.
Zusätzlich zu der schönen Wohnung ist der Pool hervorzuheben, welcher ebenfalls sauber und gepflegt war.
Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen & würden die Unterkunft nochmal buchen.

Der Pool ist schön, leider sind die Liegen dort aber teilweise kaputt und es gibt keine Auflagen, dadurch eher unbequem.
Das Bett ist furchtbar, prinzipiell mag ich gerne feste Matratzen, aber nicht wenn ich jede Feder einzeln spüre.
Leider wurde mir auch nicht bei der Buchung gesagt, das man nach 22 Uhr einen Aufpreis von 30€ zahlen muss,für den Check in zahlen muss, obwohl ich vor der Buchung extra gefragt habe, ob ein später Check in möglich ist

Wäre das Bett nicht gewesen wie unten beschrieben wäre es eine klasse Unterkunft!
Die Matratze des Bettes war unverschämt hart und man spürte die Sprungfedern durch . Man konnte nicht wirklich erholsam schlafen, leider eher eine Qual .

Bed review: 1/5 the mattress was very very firm with only the sheet between you and the springs. Honestly it may have been better to sleep on the floor or couch. The pillows were sub par and we ended up using the throw pillows with pillow cases instead. This made our stay much less enjoyable since a good sleep is so important after a long day of adventure around the algrave.
Overall i would recommend this condo complex to folks only using their accomidations for a quiet place to rest(as we did) but not specifically this vrbo if a comfy bed is a priority to you.

Stationnement facile autour de l'immeuble.
Belle piscine mais trop froid pour l'utiliser lorsque nous sommes allés en février-mars

Couldn't find cutlery drawer needs a label on it. The kitchen tap was lose and the late check in was a problem as nowhere to store our luggage while we waited.

When we arrived for check-in we found out that the location shown in Google maps was incorrect. Apartment is located further away from the old town, a 8-11 minute walk from the location given in the listing.
The apartment was infested with ANTS. It was only cleaned superficially. It was obvious it had not been inhabited for a while and the ants were having a feast! I had ants crawling on me when I sat down on the couch. We had to spend hours our first night in Lagos going back and forth on the phone with Booking.com and the property management.
We requested a relocation from Booking.com as soon as we had checked-in. The property management were fully booked. Booking.com said protocol was to first let the property management try to resolve the issue.
We had to stay at the location to let a cleaning team in. They sprayed pesticides all over the apartment and manually killed ants with cloths. The attempt of eradication was without success. They only spoke Russian, but I can assume that the pesticides they used had poisonous fumes that one is not supposed to inhale let alone sleep in.
The property management admitted to already know that there were ants present in the apartment. They claimed that previous guest might have been a bit filthy and also blamed the heat wave.
We had prepaid for 8 nights in July, unfortunately we had to spend one night in Apartment Henri. The confirmation for a refund first came the following afternoon. We were charged fully for that night and only got a refund for 7 nights. This was during high season and Lagos was almost fully booked. Booking.com did not help us with a relocation.
The property management, Rental Valley, refused to give a full refund. They didn´t offer any compensation at all for the first night. Rental Valley claim to be a property management team who works hard to make sure their guests stay is smooth and comfortable. Our stay was neither smooth nor comfortable. Do NOT book this apartment!
