This gorgeous and spacious townhouse with garden and large balcony sleeps up to 8 guests and is located on the BoaVista Golf Resort in Lagos. Your accommodation is part of Bayview Village, an exclusive club available only to Bayview residents and their guests. It has a pool, gym, sauna, game room and more, just around the corner from the house!
The space
This modern townhouse sleeps up to 8 guests in two double rooms with queensize bed and 1 twin room on the first floor, all with en-suite bathrooms and one extra room with sofa bed on the ground floor with a bathroom just across the hallway from the room. The house is decorated with great care to make you feel at home and offer you great comfort. Whether you want to spend your day playing golf, relaxing by the pool and spa, soaking up the sun on the beach or exploring the picturesque town of Lagos and the wider Algarve area, this is the perfect house for you!
The house is fully equipped with an open living area, dining table, lounge area, and kitchen island. The kitchen includes all modern appliances and kitchenware to cook up a feast. The living room opens onto an enclosed garden area with a dining table and barbecue overlooking the pool area.
This townhouse is located in Bayview Village, a new addition to the exclusive and unique 5* star BoaVista Golf Resort. The resort has a large pool, sunbed area, children's pool, 18-hole golf course, two restaurants, tennis courts, playground, archery practice area, and Health & Fitness Spa with another heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, massage therapist, beauty treatments and a well-equipped gym, all this surrounded by the beautifully maintained resort.
The townhouse's location is excellent as you are a minute away from the communal indoor & outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym and a few minutes' stroll from the on-resort bistro restaurant.
** PLEASE NOTE that there is some ongoing construction in the Boa Vista Bayview area. The disruption is minimal, but some noise can happen**

The neighborhood
Our home is located in the Boa Vista Golf resort near Lagos. At the resort, you will find an Essential Spa, a fully equipped gym, a large indoor pool, Jacuzzi, a sauna and steam room. A golf course and multiple restaurant options.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
Other things to note
➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9pm. Check-in after 9pm must be confirmed before booking and costs 30 euros. Check-in after 11pm costs 50 euros. Please note that midnight is latest.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am
ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.

Shower n bath silicon is grubby, low on soap in each bathroom and toilet paper, host provided more paper.
Building work was gong on nearby, lack of bars , restaurants nearby but that was our fault for not checking.
I would go back to the property theses little things did not put us off.

Die Kommunikation mit Rental Valley war wenig hilfreich, aber die local Host haben schnell geantwortet und geholfen.
Die Lage, direkt am Poolhaus, ist mit Kindern perfekt. Die Pools sind super sauber!
Wer ausschlafen möchte, wird aber von den Großbaustellen geweckt.
Das Haus war leider nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Haare, Staub und Dreck auf dem Boden, in den Ecken und Schränken. Leider war auch die Bettwäsche befleckt.
Babybett unbrauchbar, da sogar die Matratze fehlte.
Auf Bitte, wurde am nächsten Tag, nachgewischt. Besen und Wischmob im Keller waren leider auch dreckig. Auf Nachfrage, haben wir einen (dreckigen aber funktionierenden) Staubsauger bekommen.
Probleme hatten wir noch mit mit verstopften Abflüssen und Warmwasser. Wurde nach ein paar Tagen geregelt.
Hoffentlich werden die neuen Häuser im Bayview Village demnächst ordentlicher gereinigt, damit Gäste noch viele Jahre sich da wohlfühlen.

Wir hatten Pech: gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite wird aktuell ein Häuserblock gebaut. Also ganztägig Dreck und Lärm inklusive LKW-Verkehr. Schade, wurde im Buchungsprozess komplett unterschlagen. Wir hatten dann nicht gebucht. Ausstattung in der Küche (Geschirr, Kochutensilien etc.) für 4 Personen noch OK, wie das bei (möglichen) 8 Personen gehen soll, ist mir schleierhaft. Zudem: alles zusammnewürfelt, passt nicht zum ansonsten hochwertigen Eindruck.

thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately you have not reviewed your whole stay but only pointed out a lack of communication.
I would like to explain that you receive 7 days before your arrival the Rental guide which includes all information you would have needed for a smooth check in. In order to get the Rental Guide you need to fill in your data, unfortunately this had not happened until the day of your arrival so we needed to send you several reminders. Therefore we can't be held responsible in this case. We did inform the local host about your arrival but asked you to get in touch with them according to our manual stated in the Rental Guide.
We hope you and your friends had however a good time at the property.

Lots of little broken things, - like balcony furniture, freezer didn't close properly so ice built up, wardrobe doors not working, no pool towels. Construction right beside us which we weren't told about, so everything on balcony covered in red dust

The booking process went thru several intermediaries which meant messages failed to get thru and i thought i had answered the artival questions with booking.com but this didnt get thru to the property managers/ owners

Property has sea views in the morning, very clean and good access to the pool (just behind the property)
Need car for supermarket, coffee etc. but a short drive gets you to these locations.
Almost everything was provided in the property - kitchenware, iron, washing etc.
Third bedroom beds can’t be joined which is a drawback.
Fourth bedroom (study room) bed was a futon so didn’t try that but I am sure it can be used.
