The space

A 1-floor townhouse on the bottom of a 2-story building, surrounded by a little garden and patio that gives you access to our generous living room with a great sitting area and connected to an open kitchen that offers a large dining table and all the modern appliances you will need for your stay.

Furthermore, the house offers two bedrooms, one twin room with two single beds of 90x200 and a bathroom in the hallway. The other bedroom offers a double bed with an en-suite bathroom.

Parking is public and accessible. The parking area is located right beside the building. In addition, the resort's pool and playground are just 1 minute walk from the accommodation.

Surrounded by a green environment and peaceful landscapes, Vale da Ribeira Residences is the ideal place to enjoy holiday moments. The typical outdoor areas have two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), a playground and gardens full of trees.

The neighborhood

Vale da Ribeira Residences is located in Mexilhoeira Grande, a quiet area of the Algarve, with the hills of Monchique to the north and coastal towns of Lagos and Portimão to the south. Only 10 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes drive from Faro Airport.

The little towns of Mexilhoeira Grande and Odiaxere are just around the corner, and each has small supermarkets and restaurants to cater to your needs when you want to avoid the bigger towns. The chicken restaurant and the pizzeria on the main street of Odiaxere are famous takeaway places in the area. For a truly local restaurant experience nearby, go to A Curva in Mexilhoeira Grande. The nearest big supermarket is in Torre's new shopping area, between Odiaxere and Lagos.

Nature

Golf
Internationally renowned for its variety of world-class golf courses and its year-round sunny climate, the Algarve has much to offer golfers.
With more than 40 courses available, it's no surprise the region has become synonymous with golf, with thousands of tourists flocking here every year. We prefer Palmares Golf at 4.8km.

Algarve International Circuit
Commonly referred to as Portimão Circuit, it is a 4.653 km race circuit located in Portimão, Algarve region, Portugal. The development includes a karting track, an off-road track, a technology park, a five-star hotel, a sports complex and apartments.

Wakeboard
Vale Da Ribeira is close to a renowned wakeboard training ground suited for beginners and professionals. So enjoy your day here, and challenge yourself by trying to complete the obstacle course.

Kitesurf
Enjoy your kitesurf session at the beautiful beaches in Algarve with perfect wind conditions. Make it an unforgettable memory.

Surf & Paddle
Choose from the southern or western coast of the Algarve to ride some of the best waves in Europe. There are several packages and opportunities to take a class or an intensive course in Surf, bodyboard and stand-up paddle.

Getting around

Although you can find trains, buses and uber/taxi services in the area, a (hire) car is highly recommended for this trip as the accommodation is in stand-alone urbanisation. Parking is free and easily next to the accommodation, and free parking is readily available in most towns and beach areas.
