The space
Dit rustige appartementencomplex is toegankelijk via de voorkant, langs het zonnige zwembad waar je op elk moment een duik kunt nemen, of via de achterkant, waar je je eigen parkeerplaats vindt. Een zeer handige lift of trap brengt je naar de eerste verdieping waar je je lichte en gastvrije thuis weg van huis betreedt.
Rechts is de opvallende, luxe slaapkamer met uitzicht op de heuvels van Burgau. Vervolgens is er een ruime badkamer met een dubbele wastafel, grote douche, bidet en een WC.
De lichte open woon/eetkamer is voorzien van een comfortabele L-vormige slaapbank, verduisteringsgordijnen en een knusse stapel dekens om 's avonds laat naar een film te kijken of naar die Netflix-show die je nog wilde zien. Een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een grote eettafel (er zijn ook spelletjes en puzzels, voor de kleine vroege vogels), een vaatwasser en een wasmachine betekenen dat je je nieuwe toevluchtsoord niet hoeft te verlaten, tenzij je dat echt wilt!
Het balkon heeft een uitzicht op de zee als je een beetje naar links leunt... maar als dat te veel werk is, kun je gewoon genieten van een zachte deining op de hangstoelen en de wereld voorbij zien gaan. Een perfecte manier om een stranddag te beginnen of te eindigen.

The neighborhood
200 meter van het strand!
Op slechts 10 minuten afstand van het bruisende vakantiestadje Luz en 20 minuten van de charmante jachthaven en de bruisende oude stad Lagos, is Burgau het verborgen juweeltje aan de prachtige kust van de zuidelijke Algarve. Er zijn verschillende surfbare stranden binnen 10 minuten rijden, maar Burgau strand zelf is geweldig om te zwemmen, surfen en peddelen voor de kleintjes.
Er is een overvloed aan eet- en drinkgelegenheden voor zo'n klein stadje en de keukens variëren van traditioneel Portugees tot Indiaas en Tapas. De plaatselijke bevolking is gastvrij en zeer vriendelijk.
Binnen een paar minuten lopen van het appartement zijn 2 supermarkten, Rui's café (beroemd om zijn gin pours), een bushalte die de zuidelijke kust bedient, verschillende bars en restaurants. Het strand van Burgau heeft een charmante strandbar die de hele dag lekkere drankjes en eten serveert.

Very nice comfortable place, lovely area, we had a really nice time there. Only things to note is the key box (it’s up the road not at the property) is the one on the right not the left. There was only one large wine glass and the cork screw was broken. There was no welcome bottle of water or the usual snacks and coffee capsules which are nice after a long trip but there is a supermarket directly below. Checkout is 10am. The apartment is the letter I not 1, which confused me but it’s simple to find on the first floor, the parking spaces are also marked. We had a slight issue with the electric car park gates when there was a power cut for an hour. Lots of great places to eat and just a short walk down the hill to a very nice beach, one of our favs. Thank you, had a very nice time.

Apartment was spacious and well equipped. The door is very hard to open and close. We struggled everyday. Contacted the host but quite difficult to get hold of them. No explanation so we had to figure it out ourselves. One socket in the bedroom was hanging out making it quite dangerous for our 2 year old. We contacted them and they send a maintenance man on the same day but were expected us to drive to another location and drop off keys for them to enter. Luckily they came exactly when we returned to the apartment. Parking gate malfunction all week and when we were leaving on the last day stopped working all together so we were stuck there for two hours, on the phone with rent valley who did not know how to fix it or give us instructions how to manually open it. They left us waiting saying will call back but never did. Lucky another resident managed to open the gate. They have partially refunded us for the inconveniences. Is a shame as the apartment is nice and great location.

Localização e conforto. Relativamente à limpeza, constatámos a existência de migalhas no forno, o que sugere uma higienização insuficiente do equipamento. Adicionalmente, a presença de cabelos no interior do armário da casa de banho denota uma falta de atenção aos detalhes na preparação do espaço.
No que concerne ao inventário de utensílios, verificámos a ausência de copos adequados para café e vinho. Tal facto limitou a nossa experiência e a capacidade de usufruir plenamente das comodidades oferecidas.
Outro ponto que causou grande insatisfação foi a necessidade de deslocação para recolher e entregar as chaves. O facto de o check-in e check-out obrigarem a uma deslocação a uma propriedade distinta e distante do alojamento, sem que tal estivesse devidamente esclarecido de forma clara na reserva, representou um inconveniente considerável. Esta prática não é prática, nem faz sentido, e contrasta com a expectativa de um processo simples e eficiente. E enviaram a imagem errado do cofre onde estavam as chaves. As chaves estavam no cofre ao lado. Liguei pars o serviço de apoio e ninguém atendeu.
Por último, considero que o horário de check-out às 10h00 é excessivamente cedo e desadequado. Esta restrição temporal, em comparação com os padrões de mercado e a generalidade das ofertas de alojamento, não permite uma saída tranquila, nem o aproveitamento total da última noite de estadia, tornando-se um ponto negativo significativo.
O apartamento é bom, bem localizado e confortavel, mas a gestão do espaço e atencao para com os clientes é péssima.

Proximity to the beach was great. The place was very nice and clean. Little grocery store downstairs was excellent to have so close! The key pick up place at a different location was a pain. I had a very poor WiFi and want able to find the location without calling booking. But even if I had no e of those issues still going to pick up a key at a completely different location after traveling for few hours is far from convenient.

Da piscina, de ter estacionamento, etc O grelhador ainda é o mesmo que comprei quando estive a passar férias há dois anos neste apartamento. já estava na hora de meterem grelhas ou qualquer outra coisa mais adequada. O elevador não estava a funcionar. Contactámos a empresa de condomínio que disse não haver previsão de reparação. A piscina estava suja . À chegada, o apartamento não disponibiliza sacos do lixo, nem pastilhas para a máquina da loiça, nem detergente para a máquina da roupa, nem cápsulas de café. Etc. Não há "itens de sobrevivência", e os supermercados à volta estão inflacionados. Preparar tudo para a viagem ou comprar no caminho pode ser uma boa ideia.

Wir waren in der Nebensaison an der Algarve und starteten unsere Reise in Burgau und dieser Unterkunft. Was soll ich sagen, das kleine Dorf hat uns sofort in seinen Bann gezogen und wir wollten eigentlich gar nicht mehr weg. Die Unterkunft war super, alles wie beschrieben, sauber und hatte eine tolle Lage in dem kleinen Ort. Bei Fragen und Anliegen antwortete der Vermieter sehr sehr schnell. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem netten noch ursprünglichen Fischerdorf. Die Lage war perfekt um schnell schöne Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu erreichen. Auch am Strand und am Einstieg zu den wunderbaren Küstenwegen war man in wenigen Minuten. Die Unterkunft entspricht genau der Beschreibung, war hell und sauber und enthielt alles was man benötigt. Das Auto konnte sicher in einem abgesperrten Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder wählen.

I had to pick the keys up from a lockbox which was 5 mins away in a car. Not the end of the world but slightly annoying, especially on check-out when I was running slightly late for my flight and forgot I had to drop them off at the same place (and I didn't have a car)!
No other complaints. Burgau is lovely and the flat itself is clean, modern and spacious. It's very close to a fantastic beach and a few really nice restaurants - I'd specifically recommend 'A BARRACA' and 'AIRES'.

We had a great time in Burgau! The location is great and walkable to restaurants, bakeries, mini-markets and the beach. The AirBnB was lovely and had loads of natural light coming in. The host was super friendly and responsive. The only small thing to consider: we were 4 people and the couch was a bit on the small side to sleep on for two people. We ended up being lucky because by chance we had a small mattress with us that the 4th person slept on. It might be fine if you don't need a lot of space but just as a tiny heads up. Other than there's nothing to complain about :))

Beautiful apartment. Right in the middle of the old fisher village Burgau! Everything clean and quite. We had a minor issue during out stay, which was handled really quickly and fair for both sides. Great service! The pool is clean as well and a nice addition. Would fully recommend a stay as a couple travelling with a little child.

Lägenheten stämmer överens med beskrivning och bilder. Köket var välutrustat. Läget mycket centralt, busshållplats några meter bort, stranden når du på några minuter, vandringsleder mycket nära. Minus för att det pågick renovering/bygg i huset, där det borrades från morgon och ut över dag/kväll. Förhoppningsvis tillfälligt. Några minus på städning. Kylskåpet var inte rent och skåpluckor fläckiga. Poolen var en stor tillgång, rent o h fräscht. Reser du inte med egen bil behöver du ta taxi för att hämta och lämna nyckeln.

Super Unterkunft mit privatem und abgesperrtem Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Gebäude. In der Unterkunft findet man alles um sich auch Essen selbst zuzubereiten. Der Gemeinschafts Pool war sehr sauber. Direkt gegenüber gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt in dem man das nötigste bekommst. Mit dem Auto erreicht man große Supermärkte in 10-15 Minuten. Im Ort gibt es sehr viele gute Restaurants. Der fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichende Strand war in Ordnung mit dem Auto findet man in der näheren Umgebung viele Traumstrände und Buchten.

Fornito di tutti i comfort: divano comodo, cucina con tutto il necessario, bagno spazioso (senza finestra però), condizionatori, letto soffice con cuscini extra. Piccola pecca del bagno: le ante della doccia non si chiudono completamente. Un'altra piccola nota negativa: la pulizia dell'appartamento è concentratpa più sui pavimenti e sanitari, ad esempio le mensole accanto al letto erano piuttosto impolverate. È possibile accedere alla piscina dello stabile che è pulita e con molti lettini a disposizione. La zona è tranquilla e vicinissima alla spiaggia e molti locali. L'host è stato molto disponibile nel cambiare in poco tempo la macchina del caffè non funzionante, fornendocene una nuova. Raccomandato :)

O sitio é muito bem situado a meros 5m a pe da praia. Por parte do anfitrião sempre muito cordiais e respondendo bastante rápido. O apartamento tem o tamanho suficiente para 2 adultos e 2 crianças (que era o nosso caso). De aspetos menos positivos sem duvida a limpeza, a cama não estava bem feita, o chão da sala tinha manchas, assim como a casa de banho. Encontrei louça suja dentro dos armários, para primeiro impacto foi bastante desolador, lavei a louça toda, assim como limpamos a casa para nos sentirmos melhores. Em termos de tv, poderia ao menos ter um tdt para ter canais portuguesas

Could not have been happier with the Kuuyi Suite and with Burgau. The apartment is maintained, cleaned and equipped to exceptionally high standards and we wanted for nothing during our stay. A short walk from the beach and any of the excellent bars and restaurants in this quiet seaside village with the added advantage of a pool to cool off at the end of the day. Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem herrlichen Ort. Viele Restaurants und kleiner Laden (hohe Preise, reicht aber für kleinere Einkäufe) direkt um die Ecke.
Die Schlüssel müssen woanders abgeholt werden, ca 5min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort auch wieder in der Key Box hinterlegt werden. Ohne Mietwagen evtl etwas tricky.
Wir haben die Wohnung anfangs nicht gefunden. Wir hatten Apartment „I“. Da das Schloss nur gedreht werden kann, wenn man die Tür kräftig zu sich herzieht, waren wir uns nicht sicher ob wir an der richtigen Wohnung waren. Das als Info ;)

A clean, modern and spacious apartment located in such a beautiful seaside village. The apartment was catered with everything we needed - even Tupperware so we could make lunch for the day! The local area is a lovely quaint village surrounded by beautiful walks and a great beach just 5 minutes walk away. Lots of restaurants in the village to choose from too. If you like exploring further afield would recommend hiring a car - although there is a bus stop less than 30 seconds away from the apartment with local transport to and from Lagos town daily.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in Burgau und ist nur 2 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Der Check-In hat reibungslos geklappt, weil man sehr gute Anweisungen erhalten hat. Vor Ort gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten und man steht Sicher auf dem Grundstück. Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl um schweres Gepäck bequem zu transportieren. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Der Balkon lädt auch zum verweilen ein, durch die ruhige Lage ist man nie durch Lärm gestört. Der Pool ist gepflegt und sauber.Auf alle Fragen wurde schnell geantwortet. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Schlüssel musste man bei einer anderen Adresse abholen, lag für uns aber auf dem Weg und war daher kein Problem. Auf dem Grundstück gab es ausreichend Parkplätze für alle Wohnungen. Die Wohnung war sehr neu, sauber und in guter Lage. Der Ort Burgau ist sehr klein und süß, wir haben uns direkt heimisch gefühlt. Allgemein haben wir uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen 🙏🏼

pick-up des clés se font bien, si on suit bien les indications. J'ajouterai qu'il y a plusieurs clés et que pour entrer dans le logement il y a 2 portes à débarrer avant d'arriver au logement. Mieux identifié le logement car on pensait que c'était numéro 1 mais c'était en fait, la lettre i. appartement propre- comme les photos. logement sécuritaire et voisins tranquille. on se rends à pied à la plage ce qui est agréable. on nous a fourni une chaise haute et bassinette pour notre bébé de 6 mois, c'était de bonne qualité et fort apprécié. La terrasse est mignonne, du soleil du matin jusqu'en après midi. nous y étions en fevrier alors la ville était très tres tranquille.

Het appartement: modern ingericht, nieuw, alles aanwezig zoals thuis. De locatie: Burgau is klein, maar uitstekend gelegen tussen Lagos en Sagres. Appartement op wandelafstand van het strand. Zwembad aanwezig. We hadden geen verbinding met het internet en dus geen Wifi en ook geen TV. Pogingen om dit te melden aan Rentalvalley, het verhuurkantoor, zijn niet gelukt. Het grote probleem is dat je niemand ziet, de incheck gebeurt de dag voordien digitaal. De sleutels moet je op een andere locatie ophalen in een keybox. Dat kan allemaal wel als zich in 't appartement geen problemen voordoen. Het is nodig en onmisbaar een fysieke contactpersoon ter plaatse te hebben.

Alloggio di nuova costruzione, bellissimo e arredato con tutto il necessario. Posizione ottimale, nel centro di Burgau a 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Molto apprezzabile la presenza della piscina, del barbecue e del parcheggio interno. Non molto positivo il check-in, ritirate le chiavi in altre sede, per trovare il nostro alloggio abbiamo dovuto provare ad inserire le chiavi in tutte le porte trovando infine quella giusta ma con la serratura difettosa. La pulizia della casa non è stata delle migliori, sabbia sul pavimento, specchio del bagno schizzato con dentifricio, alcune stoviglie sporche riposte con quelle pulite, barbecue con griglia ancora incrostata e utilizzato come portacenere. La piscina è veramente meravigliosa, peccato solo che anche questa non sia granché pulita. Nella descrizione dell'appartamento è disponibile un posto auto interno. Nella brochure arrivata poco prima del soggiorno via mail e in quelle presenti in altre lingue nella casa non risulta disponibile.

El apartamento es muy nuevo y bien equipado. Muy cercano a la playa y a 15 minutos de Lagos, donde encuentras comercios y restauración de todo tipo. No me gustó que se quedasen con dos vestidos que me dejé olvidados. También deberían darle una vuelta a las almohadas son demasiado finas y blandas. Tuvimos problemas con la Wifi y nos lo solucionaron al segundo día

Le sejour aurait pu etre parfait mais les couettes étaient insuffisantes et non disponible pour les nuits fraîches et venteuses (10° la nuit 3 fois pendant notre semaine). Le canapé lit ne s'ouvre pas en entier, trop petit pour des enfants de 6 et 10ans qui ont mal dormi. Aucune aide de la part de l'agence pour ces problèmes, pas de matelas d'appoint pour enfant, personnel trop occupé pour nous aider. Dommage. Je recommande l'endroit mais pas cette agence.

l'appartamento: nuovo arredato con gusto e con finiture di pregio. I gestori fanno riferimento ad una società olandese che non è stata in grado di soddisfare al meglio le nostre esigenze.
il check-in avviene tramite boxkey che si trova a due chilometri dall'appartamento. il pin per aprirlo abbiamo dovuto tefefonare per riceverlo.
Asciugacapelli assente, ci è stato detto di andare a comprarlo che poi saremmo stati rimborsati (siamo ancora in attesa di tale rimborso).
Miscelatore doccia parzialmente otturato, wifi scarso, tv priva di canali sintonizzati, manca un pentolino per scaldare il latte, mancano gli asciugamani del bidè.
Il balcone é grande e spazioso ma da su una strada di transito di veicoli a motore e su un campo da calcio in cemento ed è privo di tavolo per poter pranzare fuori.
Una mattina, durante la nostra assenza, nonostante la porta e le finestre fossero state chiuse, i ladri sono entrati (senza lasciar segni di scasso) e hanno trafugato circa euro 300 in contanti.

Localização. Piscina. Barbecue. Parqueamento. Decoração e qualidade do apartamento. Este alojamento é gerido pela Rental Valley. O comando do portão do parqueamento não nos foi entregue no check in. Contactámos a Rental Valley e nada fizeram. Descarregámos o carro longe, às 21:00 e com uma criança de 2 anos. Ao entrar no apartamento verificámos que o comando do parqueamento estava na sala. Óptimo. Só que não, pois apenas funcionou uma vez e mal.. O berço não tinha lençóis e a cama de casal também não. Saí no dia seguinte para ir comprar lençóis só que não consegui tirar o carro da garagem porque o comando simplesmente parou de funcionar. Também precisei comprar todos os utensílios de churrasco pois não havia nada no apartamento. Contactei a Rental Valley sobre o barbecue e pediram para enviar foto para confirmar que havia churrasqueira. ?!?!? Como assim?!?!? Perguntei se podiam colocar um chapéu de sol na piscina, pois não havia sombra, responderam-me que o apartamento não tinha piscina.... Parecia o candid camera... Não entrando em grandes detalhes, passo já para o último dia, em que o tentar sair do condomiy, mais uma vez o portão não abria . Deveríamos ter saído as 10:00 e estivemos lá dentro com o carro preso, até às 13:00 e só não foi mais tempo porque conseguimos deslocar o portao da garagem à mão e a custo. O sítio é ótimo e o apartamento é moderno. Mas quem o está a gerir é uma nódoa. Deveriam encerrar a Rental Valley. Fiz um vídeo que posteriormente será colocado no Google.

I stayed here for a week to work remotely. The apartment was new, clean and modern as seen in the photos. The Wi-Fi was reliable and stable. The location was perfect for local shops and walkable to the beach in 3 min. The staff at rental valley were friendly and helpful! Only thing to note, for anyone planning to arrive by bus, is the key needs to be picked up from a mile away so it was necessary to take a taxi with 2 stops instead. Overall a lovely stay!

Unser Aufenthalt in Burgau war super. Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Der Check-in hat sehr gut funktioniert. Es gab sogar einen privaten Parkplatz an der Unterkunft. Gerne wieder :)

Beautiful apartment in a great location - no more than 5 minutes walk to everything in Burgau, loads of nearby food/drink options and really convenient for the beach. Had some issues checking in (the link we were sent for the location wasn't the right place - just use the address!) and with the shower but the rental company were very responsive at sorting things out. Burgau is a beautiful place to stay and this apartment is perfect - great location, private parking space and they made sure everything was ready and set up for our toddler for when we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

New property - tastefully furnished, with new furniture, kitchen appliances, crockery, etc.
At top of the (small) hill - just a short walk down to the beach and close to several great restaurants.
Rental Valley team were friendly and responsive throughout my visit. I needed to move my check-in to a later time and they arranged to leave keys in a nearby restaurant for collection which worked well. Would def stay again. Highly recommended.

Perfect quiet village and felt very comfortable generally in the apartment which is new and clean. Plenty of plates and utensils etc. Parking in gated car park so very safe. Plenty of restaurants with lovely food a very short walk away. Front windows were very dirty with dust and smears. Shower took so long to warm up then went cold part way through...every time. Could have done with a sweeping brush or hoover for the floor rather than just a dustpan and brush. Possibly an ironing board and iron would be useful. The kettle does leak a bit when you pour it. A coffee machine is provided but no coffee pods to get you started. There were no shampoos, conditioners or body wash provided despite this being on the list of facilities. Some hand soap was provided but only enough for a day or two. Also only 2 toilet rolls so you need to go shopping straight away. The remote control for the parking gate stopped working half way through the week but as there was parking available in the street it wasn't a massive problem. Could have done with a beach towel or 2 in the apartment as they are bulky items for tourists to take with them on a flight. I think as more people visit and provide constructive comments it will help the owners make for a more perfect stay as most of the basics are covered.

Schöne neue Unterkunft. Genau wie beschrieben. Toller Strand fußläufig zu erreichen. Wanderungen können direkt von dort gestartet werden. Betreuung von rental valley sowie vom Host vor Ort war prima.
