The neighborhood

With its breathtaking cliffs and picturesque town centre, we highly recommend experiencing them from the water with a boat, kayak, or SUP tour. And with great food, friendly people, and a range of water sports activities like surfing and sailing, there's something for everyone in this coastal paradise. Getting around

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
