The neighborhood

This villa is your gateway to adventure. A mere 10-minute walk leads you to breathtaking cliff walks in the adjacent national park. Connected to the famous Fisherman's Trail, the villa is an ideal starting point for explorers and nature lovers.

In Vale da Telha, you'll find a variety of local restaurants offering delicious regional cuisine, small supermarkets for your daily needs, and serene lakes perfect for picnics or birdwatching. The area is also known for its pristine beaches, such as Arrifana and Monte Clérigo, popular for surfing and sunbathing.

Aljezur, a short drive away, is a quaint town steeped in history and culture. Explore its Moorish castle, charming cobblestone streets, and the Aljezur Museum for a glimpse into the region's past. The town hosts a vibrant market where you can purchase fresh local produce, seafood, and handmade crafts. Additionally, Aljezur offers a wider selection of dining options, ranging from traditional Portuguese eateries to international cuisine.

Getting around

Vale da Telha is a residential neighborhood located near Aljezur in Portugal's Algarve region. Although public transportation within Vale da Telha is somewhat limited, there are still various ways to explore the area.

Car Rental: Renting a car is a popular and convenient way to get around Vale da Telha and the surrounding regions. Faro Airport, roughly 80 minutes away, offers a variety of car rental services, allowing you to pick up a vehicle upon your arrival. Having a car provides the flexibility to explore at your own pace and visit local attractions and nearby beaches.

Public Transport to Aljezur: While Vale da Telha itself has limited public transport options, you can still reach the nearby town of Aljezur via public buses. From Faro Airport, you can take a taxi or shuttle to the Faro city center, where buses are available to Aljezur. Once in Aljezur, you'll have access to shops, restaurants, and historical sites.

Cycling and Walking: The Vale da Telha region is ideal for walking and cycling. The area offers scenic views and coastal trails, perfect for those who want to explore by foot or bike. You can rent bicycles in Aljezur or bring your own, enjoying the area's natural beauty at a leisurely pace.

Taxi or Private Transfer: If driving isn’t your preference, you can hire a taxi or arrange a private transfer from Faro Airport directly to Vale da Telha. This option offers a more comfortable, stress-free experience, particularly if you're traveling with lots of luggage. It's advisable to book your transfer in advance to ensure availability.

Though public transport options are scarce in Vale da Telha, it's worth noting that there is ample free parking throughout the area. If you decide to rent a car or bring your own, finding parking during your stay should be easy.
