The space

Tucked away in the peaceful residential area of Vale da Telha, this charming single-storey villa offers everything you need for a truly relaxing Algarve escape. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private pool and a fantastic outdoor kitchen, it's the perfect base for families or groups looking to make the most of the western Algarve.

You enter through a small hallway that opens into a bright and comfortable living room, complete with a large sofa, TV and a little office corner — ideal for those who want to unwind or catch up on a few things. Just off the living room is the first bathroom with shower. Continuing through the house, the space opens up into a generous dining area with a large table seating up to six, and a fully equipped kitchen to the left. A pellet stove keeps the whole house warm through connected radiators — a lovely touch for cooler evenings. Next to the dining area you'll find a practical storage room with freezer, washing machine and ironing equipment.

A corridor leads to all four bedrooms. Three of them face the front garden, and the fourth looks out over the back garden and pool. Two bedrooms have a 160x200cm double bed, and the other two each have two single beds (110x200cm) that can be pushed together to form a double. Between bedrooms three and four is the second bathroom with shower.

The back garden is where this villa truly shines. A sparkling pool (dimensions: [X x Y m], depth 140cm) sits on a beautiful wooden deck with sun loungers, perfect for those long sunny afternoons. The covered outdoor kitchen comes equipped with a traditional wood-fired oven, BBQ, and sink, alongside a large wooden picnic table with benches — everything you need for memorable outdoor dining under the Algarve sky.

The neighborhood

Vale da Telha is a quiet, leafy residential area in the municipality of Aljezur, right on the edge of the Costa Vicentina — one of Europe's last great stretches of unspoiled Atlantic coastline and part of a protected natural park. The area is a paradise for beach lovers and nature seekers alike.

Three of the Algarve's most beloved beaches are within easy reach: the dramatic cliffs and surf of Arrifana, the wide open sands of Monte Clérigo, and the wilder, more remote Amoreira. Whether you're after a surf lesson, a long beach walk or simply a quiet spot to watch the waves, you'll be spoilt for choice.

For groceries and everyday needs, the Intermarché in nearby Aljezur is your go-to. The town itself is a charming, unhurried place with local restaurants, cafés and a weekly market worth a visit.

Getting around

Vale da Telha is best explored by car, which gives you the freedom to hop between beaches and explore the wider Costa Vicentina at your own pace. Parking is available at the villa.
