Welcome to Casinha da Esquina, a beautifully renovated studio designed for adults seeking comfort, convenience, and the best of both worlds. Located in the heart of Lagos' old town, this charming studio is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by vibrant cafes, restaurants, and local shops. With everything within walking distance, you don’t even need a car to explore the town.

Though compact, Casinha da Esquina has been thoughtfully designed to provide all the comfort you need. The house features handmade Santa Catarina tiling and has been completely renovated with attention to detail, blending traditional charm with modern amenities. If you’re in the mood to stay in, the fully equipped kitchen offers everything for cooking, and a little bar area with stools provides the perfect spot to enjoy your meals. The double bed, situated on an elevated platform, divides the sleeping area from the living space. Beneath the bed, you’ll find drawers for your clothing, and a wall rack offers space for hanging items. The small sofa is ideal for lounging and unwinding before or after beach days, and you can enjoy TV on the Samsung Frame. For added convenience, there is space under the sofa to store small suitcases.

With WIFI available throughout the studio, you can stay connected during your stay, while the nearby attractions—beaches, old town, and restaurants—are just steps away, making this the perfect base for your Lagos getaway. We’ve put a lot of love into making this a cozy and inviting space, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your time here.

➤ Even though there aren’t any bars or nightlife in the street, the house is located in the historic centre so please keep in mind that Lagos can be busy and hearing noise is possible, also from the cars that can drive past the house.

➤ Parties and other disturbances are not accepted.

The neighborhood

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

Getting around

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
