The space
Welkom in dit onlangs gerenoveerde studio-appartement, compleet met een ruim queensize bed, eigen badkamer met regendouche en een goed uitgeruste keuken. Het is de ideale plek om uw vakantie te beginnen. Met hoge plafonds en ramen die helemaal open kunnen, kunt u op het balkon stappen dat een prachtig uitzicht biedt op Lagos Marina. Het is de perfecte plek om van een glas wijn te genieten terwijl u de betoverende kleuren van de zonsondergang op het water ziet dansen. Dankzij de fantastische locatie ontdekt u de charmante oude stad, stranden, de levendige haven en een verscheidenheid aan voorzieningen, waaronder cafés en handige supermarkten, allemaal op slechts een korte wandeling.

The neighborhood
De wijk Marina ligt aan de andere kant van deze accommodatie en heeft alles wat u nodig heeft, zoals restaurants, bars met livemuziek en een grote supermarkt. De oude stad met veel winkels, kunstenaars en charmante traditionele huizen ligt op maar een klein stukje lopen.
Lagos is de perfecte vakantiebestemming met een levendig historisch centrum vol winkels, (super)markten, een jachthaven, bars en restaurants. Het staat bekend om zijn adembenemende kliffen en wij raden u ten zeerste een boot-, kajak- of SUP-tour aan om ze vanaf het water te bekijken. De stad heeft een pittoresk historisch centrum, heerlijk eten en vriendelijke mensen. Aangezien het aan de kust ligt, kunt u genieten van verschillende watersportactiviteiten zoals surfen en zeilen. Er zijn veel activiteiten voor alle leeftijden en voorkeuren in dit gebied.
Getting around
U kunt Lagos in ongeveer een uur met de auto bereiken vanaf de luchthaven Faro en autoverhuur is beschikbaar op de parkeerplaats van de luchthaven. Met de trein duurt het ongeveer 2,5 tot 3 uur.
U kunt zich gemakkelijk te voet verplaatsen of gebruik maken van het openbaar vervoer. Lagos heeft een treinstation (voor reizen naar Faro, Lissabon en Porto) en een busstation (voor bussen naar de westkant van de zuidkust), maar let op: bussen en treinen rijden maar een paar keer per dag. U kunt gemakkelijk rondreizen zonder auto en er zijn genoeg taxi's en Ubers beschikbaar, maar als u echt de omgeving van Lagos wilt verkennen, zal een (huur)auto uw leven een stuk gemakkelijker maken. In de omgeving vindt u zowel betaalde als gratis parkeergelegenheid.

To clarify, we provide two small welcome packages for our guests: one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen, which include essential items to get you started. As the apartment is a holiday rental and not a hotel, anything beyond these initial supplies is for guests to purchase, as mentioned in our listing.
Regarding the amenities, it’s true that a microwave and dishwasher were not listed in the advertisement, so these are not part of the apartment’s features. However, there is a stove, fridge, and toaster available for guests to use, and many of our visitors prefer exploring the nearby restaurants within walking distance, which we’re always happy to recommend.
We also took immediate action after your review and purchased a bread knife, though we believed the other four sharp knives provided would be sufficient. We always appreciate suggestions that help us improve the apartment for future guests.

Merci beaucoup pour votre retour positif sur la communication avec notre équipe et l’hôte local, ainsi que pour vos compliments sur l’emplacement de notre logement. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés d’apprendre que l’odeur dans la salle de bain a affecté votre séjour.
Ce problème survient très rarement, surtout en été, et malheureusement, ma collègue vous a donné des options de résolution incorrectes car elle n’était pas informée de la façon de le régler rapidement. Nous travaillons actuellement en étroite collaboration avec le condominium pour trouver une solution définitive à ce problème.
Cela dit, nous pensons qu'une note de 3 étoiles pour quelques jours avec une odeur désagréable provenant d’un drain ne reflète pas la valeur et le standard de notre propriété. Nous nous efforçons toujours de maintenir un haut niveau de confort et de qualité, et nous espérons que vous avez tout de même apprécié le reste de votre séjour.

vielen Dank für Ihre freundliche Bewertung und das Lob an unsere Unterkunft und Lage. Es tut uns sehr leid, dass Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts einen unangenehmen Geruch im Badezimmer bemerkt haben.
Leider kann es im Sommer, besonders in größeren Gebäuden, in denen alle Rohrleitungen miteinander verbunden sind, bei höheren Temperaturen selten zu Geruchsproblemen, wenn die Rohre in anderen Wohnungen nicht regelmäßig durchgespült werden. Wären wir während Ihres Aufenthalts informiert worden, hätten wir das Problem gern umgehend behoben.
Wir können solche Probleme schnell beheben und sind zudem im Austausch mit dem Condominium, um eine dauerhafte Lösung zu finden.
Wir hoffen, Sie hatten dennoch eine schöne Zeit und würden uns freuen, Sie wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.

Der Balkon mit Aussicht auf die Marina war toll. Die Strände und auch die Altstadt waren schnell zu Fuss erreichbar.
Auf Nachfrage war auch ein früherer Check-In möglich, was ein grosser Pluspunkt war.
Ich würde definitiv wieder dort hin gehen. Ich empfehle es jedem weiter!

Der var ikke er tørrestativ i lejligheden. Skrev til Rental Valley, at de evt. kunne overveje at anskaffe et tørrestativ på et tidspunkt. De skrev med det samme, at de vil sørge for, at der kom et tørrestativ. Så dagen efter afleverede Carolina et tørrestativ. Det var virkelig god service
Der er en stor vej lige udenfor lejligheden, så der er stort set altid trafikstøj. Vi kunne dog sagtens sove for det. Men beliggenheden af lejligheden er virkelig god i forhold til, at du er tæt på alt.

We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. It was surprising to learn about the issues you mentioned, especially as we can assure you that these problems are not typical of our property. Additionally, you did not report the bathroom odour to us during your stay; otherwise, we would have promptly sent someone to address it.
Our listing clearly states that the Marina area, which includes restaurants, bars with live music, and a large supermarket, is nearby. On Airbnb, a map is displayed before booking that shows the apartment's location on the main road N125. However, the newly renovated accommodation features double-glazed windows, which effectively block out any noise. The owner invested in these upgrades to ensure the comfort of our guests.
We truly care about each guest and want to make sure everyone who stays at this accommodation feels at home and has a good time. We are sorry this wasn't the case for you but as mentioned before we don't think that this was caused by any problem at our studio, rather by wrong expectations from your side.
